Client: Stormwater division for Hot Springs, Arkansas
Description:
Jessica with the Hot Springs Stormwater Division needed an updated logo design for promo events and marketing materials. Sometimes companies have a logo, but no digital files. This case would be a logo design refresh. All of the final files were given to my client when the project was complete. I usually prepare several file types for maximum value and utility. The final design can be seen below. Also, check out a few sketches that I drew during the brainstorming stage. Find out more about my logo design process.
I started this project with a few ideas. The criteria called for having key components of rain or water and fish or wildlife. A few of my preliminary sketches were inspired by native American hieroglyphs and cave drawings. I like to create various sketches for the exploration step of each logo design project. As the project progressed, you can see from the sketches which design was chosen. The logo design needs refinement. An overall circular shape would also make the most impact in final output.
The final location for the logo would be promotional bags and more. All of these items support the ideas needed to raise awareness about keeping our city water clean. This was a great project to have, and I enjoyed helping the city I call home – Hot Springs, Arkansas. I am looking forward to other logo design projects.
